George
George is 22 years old. He is married and lives with his wife, sister, two brothers, and parents. George runs a small scale agricultural business, and breeds five pigs and four piglets. He sells livestock in the winter time, and generates a seasonal income.

Besides George, his brothers generate a small income to the family as well. The elder brother works as an operator at the local petrol station, and the younger is a hired worker at a pig farm.

George works hard and wishes to get ahead. He requested a loan from Credo to develop his agricultural business. His loan request was approved within the frames of the joint initiative between Kiva and Credo.

With the received credit, George will purchase calves. After purchasing livestock, he will raise them, and after several months they will became dairy cows. The family will produce dairy products for selling and for consumption as well. The new business initiative financed with Kiva's start-up loan will significantly improve George’s living conditions in the future.
