Agnes
Agnes is 39 years old and married with six children and two dependants who she is taking care of after the death of their father. Agnes deals in cattle fattening in her region. She has managed to help her family financially by providing the basic necessities. Along with cattle fattening, she also deals in milk sales and a health clinic for her husband. They have managed to construct a permanent house through income from selling milk and to pay tuition for the children.

Agnes is applying for a loan of 3,000,000 UGX to buy more cows for fattening as it will enable her to raise enough profit to meet the needs of the family for all the basic necessities of life and to construct a dam for water collection. The dam will provide her with enough water during the dry season.
Her major challenge is inadequate pastures to feed the cows, especially in the dry season when some of her animals even die due to the prolonged drought.

Her dream is to own a large farm in the region with at least 500 cows. Agnes is resilient and hard working.
