Carlos David
Carlos, 43, works in agriculture. He lives with his wife and two children and is known in the community for his way of working for he has an impediment in his right hand. But this doesn’t limit him to do his activities. His wife’s his unconditional support for both family and material activities.

Carlos works in agriculture specifically, an activity he learned directly from his father at a young age. Because of the time he’s worked and thanks to institutions in the zone that strengthen said skills, he does his work well and becomes stronger every day.

The money will be used to bring in the harvest and he also intends to strengthen the small store his wife has to diversify household income. He mentions that in future he intends to work harder with help from his children as well as to repay the loan so that he will always have access to support for whatever activity he intends to carry out.

Carlos es una persona de 43 años de edad, agricultor, vive con su esposa y 2 hijos, es conocido en la comunidad por su manera de trabajar, ya que padece de un impedimento físico en su mano derecha; pero no es limitante para que pueda ejercer sus actividades , su esposa es un apoyo incondicional, para desempeñar las actividades tanto familiares como materiales.
Carlos se dedica específicamente a la agricultura, actividad que aprendió directamente de su papá, cuando tenía una temprana edad, por el tiempo de trabajo e instituciones presentes en la zona que fortalecen dichos conocimientos, él desempeña sus actividades de buena manera y se fortalece cada día.

El dinero será invertido en la recolección de la cosecha, también pretende fortalecer una pequeña tienda que posee su esposa y de esa manera diversificar los ingresos en el hogar.

El señor menciona que en un futuro, pretende trabajar un poco más fuerte, teniendo el apoyo de sus hijos, también salir bien con el compromiso, para mantener siempre el apoyo en cualquier actividad que pretenda realizar.

This loan is part of a CrediCampo project to help rural farmers living in extreme poverty plant basic grains to feed their families. Excess product is sold on the local market. These loans are smaller than the typical loans offered by this field partner, and guarantee requirements are also reduced. Individuals who receive this type of loan also get access to technical assistance, information on good environmental practices and increased access to farm inputs like fertilizer. This is considered a high risk loan due to the population and loan purpose, and CrediCampo is one of the very few institutions in El Salvador willing to working with these farmers.
