Garnik is from Ararat city of the Ararat region. He lives with his wife and two school age sons (16 and 10 years old). Garnik works in the private sector, and his wife works at school as a teacher. Both of them work hard to earn a living for their family. Their salaries, however, are so low that they can hardly cover the increasing needs of the family. Garnik is also engaged in cultivation of tomatoes, peaches, and apricots. He sells the agricultural products in the local market, which is an important source of income for the family.
As the autumn is progressing, Garnik needs to make some investments in his agribusiness in order for it to develop in a sustainable way. He needs a loan of $1,200 to purchase fuel for agricultural machinery and to pay for harvesting services. Garnik and his family rely on the good will of the lenders and will be thankful to them for their support.
