Shoghik, a farmer from Gandzaqar village of Tavush region, lives with her husband, daughter and two school-age sons. To be able to take care of the family's needs, Shoghik is engaged in breeding pigs and hens and cultivating corn, beans, grass and some fruits (cherry, plum, quince, apple, pear, and walnut). Shoghik's husband takes the agricultural products to the local market
Farming is the only source of income for the family. To be able to meet the growing needs of her family more effectively, Shoghik wants to enlarge her livestock holdings. A loan of USD 1000 will assist her greatly, enabling her to purchase two pigs and some forage for the livestock. It will help the family sustain their agribusiness.
Shoghik and her family rely on the goodwill of the lenders and will be thankful to them for their help.
