Ruth, 52, lives with her husband and her four children. During her working life she has earned a living as an independent merchant, a job she knows because many of her relatives have worked in the field. She has run provision, eggs, and fruits stores.
For this reason Ruth needs a loan amount of GHS 3,000 to buy stock wholesale and sell to customers in her community. She has been earning respectable income to help her husband with the financial responsibility of the household.
Ruth dreams of making her business grow and strengthening it so it will be recognized in the sector and generate a good income, so that she can take good care of her children. She hopes to give her family better living conditions and her children an excellent education in the future.
