Hidayat
Hidayat is a 53-year-old married man. Hidayat is an IDP (internally displaced person) and lives with his family in the Agdash IDP Settlement. He is a Fuzulu refugee. He has been growing vegetables and fruits for more than 10 years. He is very hard-working and passionate about his work. He considers it fun to grow potatoes, tomatoes, and cucumbers, and to plant fruit trees with his wife. He sells his crops in the central bazaar to make profits in order to support his family.

Hidayat’s income from this business is 130 AZN for monthly. In order to improve the living conditions of his family, he plans to expand his business. This requires a lot of dedication and effort. He believes that, in the near future, his son will help him grow the business. Since the vegetable and fruit business is profitable and fun, he wants the business to continue and prosper.

He has applied to Aqroinvest for a loan of 1,500 AZN. This loan is for the purpose of buying new fertilizer and seeds. It will help him grow more vegetables and fruits in order to obtain more revenues in the coming autumn, which will help him to cover his family’s needs.

More information about this loan

This loan is designed for clients residing in settlements for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Bilasuvar, Azerbaijan. An internally displaced person (IDP) is someone who has been forced to flee his or her home due to armed conflict, violence, human rights violations, or natural or manmade disasters, but who, unlike a refugee, has not crossed an international border (source: UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs). Many of these people have failed to qualify for loans through formal channels due to low income and lack of collateral. By funding this loan, you are creating opportunities and supporting economic development in extremely underserved communities.
