La A.C. “MAYAS” iniciará el décimo ciclo en Pro Mujer, como parte del Centro Focal de Villa Tejada, está compuesta por diez integrantes y está dirigida por una mesa directiva donde la señora Jhovana es la Presidenta. Los negocios que las integrantes de la asociación comunal llevan adelante son variados entre ellos existen: confección de prendas, tejido de lana, venta de repuesto de cocina, venta de carteras, venta de dulces, carpintera, tienda de barrio, tejido de chompas.

El crédito que sacaran beneficiara a pequeñas microempresarias donde la señora Jhovana es integrante, ella indica que hace cinco años que integra Pro Mujer, ingresando por invitación de una compañera que es socia de la institución. En la actualidad él tiene un negocio de taller de costura; cuenta que este negocio lo aprendió de sus padres quienes tienen un taller de costura, mismo que ella decide copiar cuando se casó.

El crédito que ahora sacará es para el espacio de venta (compra tienda) que adquirirá de una galería en la Ciudad de El Alto y posteriormente lo establecerá como espacio comercial. Esta forma de trabajo le permite generar recursos para mantener en lo posible a su hogar pues ella es casada y tiene un hijo.

Cuando se le consulta qué le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella responde que le gusta las reuniones.
