Susan is married with seven children and two of her children go to school. She has no additional family member. She operates a retail shop and sells her goods to all kinds of people on retail. She has been in this business for 3 years. She works seven days a week. She gets additional income from tailoring. She has applied for a loan of Uganda shillings 800,000 from MCDT-SACCO to buy sugar, beans, rice, flour, and cooking oil. She aspires to own a wholesale shop and also to buy a plot of land. She resides in a rented house and the family has no access to electricity or piped water. Her monthly expense includes school fees, rent and medication.
