Renie is a 25-year-old married man who lives in Bañadero, Ozamiz City, with his family. To make a living, he provides transportation services within their community. He has been providing these services for 10 years. He joined GDMPC and requested a loan to buy motor accessories in order to provide better service. He always finds ways to earn money for the family. In the future, Renie wants to provide his family with a comfortable house.
Gata Daku Multi-Purpose Cooperative (GDMPC) was founded in 1992 by 32 farmer-members to empower people by providing livelihood opportunities and other support services. Today, it has over 15,000 members located in upland, lowland and coastal regions of the Philippines, and offers credit, savings, education, and various social services.
