Sarah is married with six children and two of her children are in school. She has no additional family members. She sells green bananas on a retail and wholesale basis. She takes care of an additional family member - her mother). She has been in this business for 10 years. She works seven days a week. She has applied for a loan of Uganda Shillings 2,300,000 from MCDT-SACCO to buy more bunches of green bananas. Her major business challenges include seasonality (rainy season) which hinders her movements and transportation. She is aspiring to get a van for transporting green bananas and also to be selling on a wholesale basis only. She resides in her own house and the family has access to electricity and piped water. Her monthly expense includes school fees and feeding the family.
