The members of the group called Tileneya are married women who are on average 45 years old with five children. Most of them live in monogamous families in Ouayermai, which is one of the popular neighbourhoods of the town of Sikasso, which is in the third administrative region of Mali.
This is their fifth loan from the Soro Yiriwaso micro-finance institution as they try to satisfy their customers' needs.
Mrs. Djelika is on the far left, she sells beauty products.
With her loan she plans to buy cosmetics. She will sell them retail at the market in Ouayerma, in Sikasso to a clientele of men and women, for cash. She works in a stall with her family.
She plans to make a monthly profit of 20 000 francs CFA some of which will be used to repay the loan and the interests and the remainder she will save.
Les membres du groupe TILENEYA sont des femmes mariées avec une moyenne d’âge de 45 ans, et ont en moyenne 5 enfants. Elles vivent la plupart dans des familles monogamiques à OUAYERMA I un des quartiers populaires de la ville de Sikasso 3ème région administrative du Mali.
Elles sont à leur cinquième prêt avec l’institution de micro finance Soro Yiriwaso afin de satisfaire le besoin de leur clientèle.
Mme DJELIKA à l’extrême gauche fait le commerce de produits de beauté .
Elle compte acheter avec son prêt des produits de beauté qu’elle revendra en détail au marché de Ouayerma à Sikasso à une place fixe et en famille à une clientèle composée d’hommes et de femmes au comptant.
Elle envisage réaliser un bénéfice mensuel moyen de 20 000 francs CFA dont une partie est utilisée pour payer le prêt et son interêt et l’autre pour son épargne.

Soro Yiriwaso is a microfinance institution that works primarily in rural and semi-urban areas of Mali to provide underprivileged communities with access to financial services.The organization facilitates access for disadvantaged clients, particularly women, to new resources and services, fostering solidarity and cooperation among its clients. Kiva lenders’ funds will enable Soro Yiriwaso to expand its outreach and target even more underserved Malians involved in business and agriculture.
