En el sitio la pila del cantón Montecristi se reúne cada quince días el Banco Comunal Para el Futuro De la Mujer. Este lugar es muy conocido en la provincia y en el país por su rica cultura tradicional, en este lugar se puede encontrar una gran variedad de artesanía que son elaboradas por sus habitantes siguiendo las costumbres de sus antepasados.
En este lugar vive la señora Ana, tiene 36años de edad, está casada y de esta relación tienen dos hijos 14 y 4 años, el mayor estudia en colegio. Su esposo es artesano.
Doña Ana es una gran ama de casa que para tener sus propios recursos instalo un local en las afueras de su casa, allí vende todo tipo de artesanía y gas de uso domestico lo cual empezó hace mas de 2 años y le deja muy buenos ingresos ya que en el sector son pocos los lugares que venden gas el cual es tan necesario para los hogares, trabaja todos los días desde las 8h00 hasta 21h00, lleva más de 12 años dedicada a la venta de cerámicas y al gas 2 años.
Este crédito es para comprar más artesanía y bombonas de gas que es lo que más ganancias le deja. Está en el Banco Comunal 8 años y le gusta por la ayuda que dan para salir adelante.
Su sueño es seguir aumentando su negocio.
