Elena is a farmer from Norashen village in the Ararat region. She lives with her husband, two small daughters (six and three years old), and her mother-in-law. Elena's husband works in the private sector. To assist her husband in earning a living for the family, Elena is engaged in cultivation of tomato, alfalfa, and several fruits (apricot, cherry, pomegranate, grapes and walnut). Horticulture is an important source of income for the family. They realize the agricultural products in the local market. They have two special refrigerators for fruits, where they can keep fruits fresh for a long time. Elena currently needs a loan of USD 3,000 to buy grapes and keep them in the fruit refrigerators to sell them during the winter. She and her family will be thankful to the lenders for helping them collect the needed loan to maintain and develop their agribusiness.
