The communal association “YANAPTASIÑANI” will be starting its thirteenth cycle with Pro Mujer, as part of the Focal Point of Panamericana. It is made up of eight members and is run by a board of directors of which Alicia is the president. The businesses which the members of the communal association run are varied and among them are: selling blankets, food sales, selling fried fish, bricklayer's assistant, clothing sales and sales of footwear.

The loan they will take out will benefit small businesswomen of which Alicia is a member. She says she joined Pro Mujer four cycles ago after being invited by a friend who is a member of the institution.

Currently she has a business weaving and selling blankets. She started this business jointly with her family, as she had worked with this product since being a child. When she got married she decided to have her own sales outlet.

The loan she will take out now is to increase capital to buy wool and thread which she will buy at the markets in the city of El Alto, then after making the blankets she will sell them at her sales outlet. This type of work helps her to generate income to support her home as much as possible, since she lives with her partner and has 3 children.

When she is asked what she likes about Pro Mujer, she replies that she likes the health area, the training and the loans.

La A.C. “YANAPTASIÑANI” iniciará el décimo tercer ciclo en Pro Mujer, como parte del Centro Focal de Panamericana, está compuesta por ocho integrantes y está dirigida por una mesa directiva donde la señora Alicia es la Presidenta. Los negocios que las integrantes de la asociación comunal llevan adelante son variados entre ellos existen: venta de mantas, venta de comida, venta de pescado frito, ayudante de albañil, venta de ropa, venta de calzados.

El crédito que sacaran beneficiara a pequeñas microempresarias donde la señora Alicia es integrante, ella indica que hace cuatro ciclos que integra Pro Mujer, ingresando por invitación de una compañera que es socia de la institución. En la actualidad ella tiene un negocio de tejido y venta de mantas; este negocio lo inicio conjuntamente su familia, ya que desde niña trabaja con este producto, cuando se casó decide emprender su propio espacio de comercialización.

El crédito que ahora sacará es para el aumento de capital (compra de lana e hilo) que adquirirá de las ferias de la ciudad de El Alto y posteriormente a la elaboración lo comercializará en su espacio de venta. Esta forma de trabajo le permite generar recursos para mantener en lo posible a su hogar pues ella vive en concubinato y tiene tres hijos.

Cuando se le consulta qué le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella responde que le gusta el área de salud, capacitación y crédito.
