Amélé is a young, 33-year-old woman who is married to a shepherd. They have two children, the oldest of whom is 9 and the youngest 7. Since 2012 Amélé has worked selling candies, cookies, juice, pure water and money transfer cards, and the difficulty she faces is a lack of sales during certain seasons.
Amélé has requested her first loan from WAGES to buy sachets of pure water, money transfer cards, cookies, candies and other items, so that she can save by buying in bulk. She would like to become a wholesaler, as well as to have a family that does well for itself.
