Fatuma is the married mother of six children. She lives in her own house that has electricity but not piped water. Her greatest monthly expense is school fees for her children.
For the past ten years, she has operated a fruit-selling business. She sells to her neighbors and passersby. Her major business challenge is stiff competition from other fruits sellers.
With the KES 30,000, she wants to purchase sacks of fruits at wholesale for resale at a profit. She decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost her business and improve her living standards.
