Genya
Genya is 56 years old and she lives in the village of Khashtarak which is in Tavush region. Genya is a widow. She has two sons and one of them is already married and lives separately with his family.

Genya works as a teacher at the local school, but her family mainly relies on income from farming. In her small farm she has three rotund piglets and twenty chickens. She mainly sells eggs from her house and from time to time also some poultry and pork. She also cultivates tomatoes and cucumbers, beans and onions. She says her work and farming income has helped her to cover of her family’s needs and also to organize her son’s wedding party.

She asks a loan of 1.100.000 Armenian drams in order to develop her farm, to buy two cows and a lot of animal fodder.
