Charles is a thirty-year-old man with four children living in Masindi, Uganda. He is a farmer and also provides motorcycle transport in order to raise money to support his family. Price fluctuations and unpredictable changes in the weather affect his business growth. His dreams are to buy a taxi and venture into commercialized agriculture. Charles intends to use the loan to buy farm inputs such as fertilizers and seeds.

This loan is part of HOFOKAM's program targeting poor and geographically excluded populations in Western Uganda.
