Saleh is a 30-year-old married man who lives with his wife. They have one child. He is the main income earner of the family.
Saleh has been repairing photo-cameras, televisions, and other electronics for more than 13 years. Over the years, he has been able to build a good number of clients because of his friendly personality and competent repairing services. He also sells the electronics he repairs.
Today, Saleh is asking for a loan from Kiva partner VFAC to purchase equipment for the repair of electronics to reach his clients order more quickly, to increase his revenue, and to improve his family’s living standards.
