Khut is 27 years old and married, with a school-age child. She aims to improve her family's standad of living and experience a better quality of life.
She engages in rice farming to generate income. She plans to improve her farm to increase her yields and satisfy her family's needs. She has been in this occupation for nearly four years, and usually earns a net profit of US$ 3 per day.
This is the first loan cycle for Khut. She has applied for her husband’s sake because he needs a motorcycle for commuting to work. She says that the loan will enable her husband to save more money and travel to his construction site on time.
