Bintinasiri lives in the coastal region of Kenya. She is a divorced woman with five children who are adults. She lives in her own house that has neither electricity nor piped water.
She has a store in her house in which she stocks and sells makuti (thatching materials made from palm leaves). She faces a major challenge of seasonality in her business. She is requesting a loan to purchase more makuti for resale. She expects to do this without any difficulties, and to continue working without any problems.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
