Sanira
Sanira is a first-year student at AUCA's department of software engineering. Here is her story.

“There is a time when every high school graduates have to decide what step to take on their education further. I did not have to think much, because I have been planning on going to American University of Central Asia since I was on 9th grade at my high school. I consider AUCA as the best university in my country and in the whole Central Asia, which gives a high qualified education. There were many departments to consider though. I wanted to choose any department related to math, because I am good at it. Basically I was thinking about two departments: Economics and Software Engineering. I stopped my choice on Software Engineering. I am sure that it will be interesting for me to study at the Software Engineering department and it will be able to make contribution for the benefit of our country. Another great opportunity that AUCA gives to all its students is a loan. Taking an opportunity I am also applying for a KIVA loan, which will help me to cover my tuition.”
