Salamata Samba
Mrs. Salamata is a 48-year-old lady who is single with no children. She has been selling things for more than 5 years, since she got started at a very young age. She starts her day at 8am and finishes it at 5pm. She is on her 3rd loan at IMCEC and would like to have it renewed to buy merchandise to satisfy her clientele. With this loan, she is going to get some powdered soap, milk, oil, and orange candy, which she will sell in the neighborhood. Salamata has nobody under her care and works to be able to diversify her products and services. She does this to meet her needs, and sometimes to help pay for her family’s electricity bill. In the future, she hopes to have a place at the market and to increase her merchandise stock.
