Wilfrida is married and has four children, all of whom go to school. She lives in a rental house that has electricity, but not piped water.
Wilfrida has a business offering M-pesa services (mobile money transfer). She has run this business for one year.
At present, Wilfrida needs to offer her customers better services. For that reason, she is requesting a loan through Yehu. She will invest the funds in the addition of float (electronic credits to sell) for her M-pesa business.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
