Uultay is 47 years old, divorced, and is raising four children on her own. Uultay has a higher education and works as a school librarian. As a main source of income for her family, Uultay is involved in raising livestock, having started nine years ago with the purchase of cattle for 20,000 som KGS. Thanks to her hard work, Uultay today has on her farm: one dairy cow and one calf. Monthly income consists of 8,000 som (KGS).

With the aim of further developing her homestead, Uultay turned to the microfinance bank Bai-Tushum and Partners for a loan of 100,000 som (KGS) to buy cows for increasing the headcount of cattle.

Uultay plans to invest income from the loan in further increasing the quantity of domestic livestock, and plans to save money for the further education of her children.
