Juan will use the loan to buy fertilizer, herbicides and insecticides to plant 7,000 square meters of beans and to pay for the labor required. In the future Juan wants to expand his house so his large family can live more comfortably.
Juan de 40 años de edad, es casado, tiene 7 hijos de 2,5,8,13, 16, 18 y 20 años de edad; cuatro de ellos estudian y 2 trabajan, el mayor no vive con ellos. En la casa conviven 8 personas y todas dependen de Juan.
Juan tiene 10 años de trabajar como albañil, también es agricultor, ambos oficios los aprendió de su padre, con quien trabajo desde los 12 años de edad.
El préstamo sera utilizado para comprar fertilizantes, herbicidas e insecticidas para sembrar 7, 000 mts. Cuadrados de frijol y pagar la mano de obra requerida.
En un futuro Juan tiene pensado ampliar su vivienda, para que su amplia familia pueda vivir cómodamente.

These loans are smaller than the typical loans offered by this field partner, and guarantee requirements are also reduced.
