There she would be able to sell her products in peace. This is Elvira's fourth Kiva loan and she is grateful for the financial support as, with it, her income will improve. Elvira promises to be punctual with her repayments. Elvira will invest the 1500 Nuevo Soles in buy coloured wools in order to continue knitting her products.

Elvira, 45 años, vive en la casa que heredó de sus padres. Se caracteriza por ser una mujer muy alegre y trabajadora, vive en su casa propia junto a su esposo César y sus 3 queridos hijos, a quienes quiere mucho.
Ella se dedica a varias actividades durante el día. Tejiendo chullos (prendas para la cabeza), chalinas, guantes, telares. Ella disfruta mucho de tejer y lo hace muy hábilmente, sus tejidos los vende en su pequeño puesto ubicado en centro artesanal del poblado de San Pedro de Cajas, donde con mucha rapidez son adquiridos por sus clientes. Lo que más le gusta de su trabajo es tejer, se divierte mucho haciéndolo y ese estado de ánimo lo refleja en los acabados de su trabajo, lleva 32 años realizando esta actividad. Además de dedicarse a la siembra de papa una vez al año, esta característica hace la tierra sea más fértil y proporcione un buen producto. Por lo que obtiene buenas ganancias con ello. Asimismo recibe el apoyo de su esposo quien tiene una pequeña radio comunal en la localidad. Para más adelante espera ahorrar lo suficiente para poner una tienda de tejidos artesanales más grande, donde pueda vender sus prendas con mayor tranquilidad.
