Sanyu is married with three children and two go to school. She has one additional family member. She operates a beauty salon from home. She has been in business for 10 years. She works seven days a week.
Sanyu has applied for a loan of Uganda shillings 600,000 from MCDT - SACCO to buy hair treatments, weaves, relaxers, braids and hair extensions. Her major business challenges include undependable electricity which hinders her business operations. She is aspiring of getting permanent business premises. She resides in her own house and the family has no access to electricity or piped water. Her monthly expenses include school fees and feeding the family.
