Agnes is married with five children; four of her children go to school. She has one additional family member (sister). She operates a pub from home. She sells her goods to all kinds of people on retail and wholesale basis. She has been in this business for 5 years. She works seven days a week.
She has applied for a loan of Uganda Shillings 2,000,000 from MCDT-SACCO to buy crates of beer, soda, local gin, and spirits. She is aspiring to build rental houses and own a fully stocked pub.
She resides in her own house, and the family has access to electricity but does not have access to piped water. Her monthly expenses include paying school fees and feeding the family.
