Runchi is 45-year-old married woman with three sons. They live in the Kalaiya Municipality of Bara district, Nepal. Within her own house, Runchi has set up a small general store shop where she sells different types of products such as rice, pulse, and sugar to her fellow community members. She has good number of customers who come to her store to buy different type of goods. As a result of the success of her store, she feels it is time to expand her general store with a wider range of products.
Runchi is requesting a 40,000 NPR loan to purchase grain, pulses, and other products. She has very good personal references within her community. Runchi’s hope for the future is to do well in business and to give her children good education.
