Arriving in New York in 2000, Rebeca began collaborating and performing with the most sought-after musician of the Latin-Jazz scene. Through this exposure, she uncovered the emotional beauty and rhythmic complexity of Brazilian music. It was there that she discovered the third corner of a musical triangle that she would infuse into her own foundation.
After Hurricane Sandy hit, several of Rebeca’s clients had to cancel scheduled performances, which hurt her band’s earnings. Rebeca will use this loan to pay for merchandising, advertising and travel expenses for her upcoming tour.
