Hilda currently has a workshop where she works by braiding and sewing blankets. She said that she learned these skills from her mother and that this is the family business. When she got married, she decided to start her own business.

This loan will allow her to increase her capital and buy fabric and wool. She will get these supplies from a wholesale distributor in the city of El Alto and then she will make and sell the blankets to customers who requested them. This type of work allows Basilia to earn income and support her household since she is married and has three children.

When asked what she likes about Pro Mujer, she said she likes the financing that they offer.

La A.C. “RENACER DE NUEVO AMANECER” Iniciarán el quinto ciclo en Pro Mujer, como parte del Centro Focal de Villa Adela, está compuesta por nueve integrantes y está dirigida por una mesa directiva donde la señora Hilda es la Presidenta. Los negocios que las integrantes de la asociación comunal llevan adelante son variados entre ellos existen: venta de golosinas, macramé de mantas, tienda de barrio, artesanías.

El crédito que sacaran beneficiara a pequeñas microempresarias donde la señora Hilda es integrante, ella indica que es la primera vez que integra Pro Mujer, ingresando por invitación de una amiga que es socia de la institución. En la actualidad él tiene un negocio de taller de trenzado y tejido de mantas; cuenta que este negocio lo aprendió al apoyar a su madre, ya que es un negocio familiar, cuando se caso decide emprender su propio negocio.

El crédito que ahora sacará es para el aumento de capital (compra de tela y lana) que adquirirá de las distribuidoras mayoristas de la Ciudad de El Alto y posteriormente a la elaboración lo comercializará a pedido del cliente. Esta forma de trabajo le permite generar recursos para mantener en lo posible a su hogar pues ella es casada y tiene tres hijos.

Cuando se le consulta qué le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella responde que le gusta el crédito que se ofrece.
