Rami is a 34-year-old married man living with his wife. He has no children yet, but he is planning to have kids soon. Recently, he became the owner of a car wash, where he provides customers with clean and hygienic car wash services. He has one part-timer working with him. In parallel, he sells coffee to people from his community.
Today, Rami is asking to borrow a loan from Kiva partner Vitas s.a.l. to purchase modernized tools, paint his car wash and install a curtain to be protected from rain and keep the cars sparkling. In the future, he plans to expand his operation into other areas.
Due to political and social challenges in Lebanon, personally identifiable attributes entrepreneurs may have been altered to protect their privacy (i.e., blurring portions of the borrower's picture, not indicating a name and location, etc.). Vitas appreciates Kiva lenders' understanding of these challenges and encourages them to continue their support for Lebanon's borrowers.
