Mounir is a 60-year-old Lebanese married man living with his wife and three children.
He has owned a coffee mill since 1997. He is quite familiar with the process of producing delicious coffee grains.
Today, he is requesting to borrow a loan from Kiva partner Vitas s.a.l. to purchase raw materials and continue his production properly. Mounir is very brave at his job and believes that this first Kiva loan will definitely help him realize what he is aiming for.
Due to political and social challenges in Lebanon, personally identifiable attributes entrepreneurs may have been altered to protect their privacy (i.e., blurring portions of the borrower's picture, not indicating a name and location, etc.). Vitas appreciates Kiva lenders' understanding of these challenges and encourages them to continue their support for Lebanon's borrowers.
