The „FLOR DE ROSAS MARISCAL“ communal bank will begin its fourth loan cycle with Pro Mujer, through the Los Andes regional office. It is comprised of eight members and is lead by a board of directors of which Concepción is the president. The members of the communal bank carry out various businesses, amongst them knitting multi-colored wool cloth, selling kerosine, selling vegetables, selling food, running a neighborhood store, selling fish, and selling fried potatoes with hotdog.

The credit they are taking out will help the the women who run small businesses. One of them is Concepción. She states she has been with Pro Mujer for four years and joined when she was invited by one of the promoters of the institution who came to her home. At present, she has a business knitting multi-colored wool cloth. She says that she learned this business from her mother many years ago and after marrying she set up her own workspace.

The loan she will take out now is to increase her capital by buying wool, which she will buy from the markets in the city of El Alto. The products knitted from this wool she will sell in her sales stall. This form of work helps her to support her family, as she is married and has two children.

When asked what she likes about Pro Mujer, Concepción saiys that she likes the savings the groups make.

La A.C. “FLOR DE ROSAS MARISCAL” iniciará el cuarto ciclo en Pro Mujer, como parte del Centro Focal de Los Andes, está compuesta por ocho integrantes y está dirigida por una mesa directiva donde la señora Concepción es la Presidenta. Los negocios que las integrantes de la asociación comunal llevan adelante son variados entre ellos existen: tejido de awayos, venta de kerosene, venta de verduras, venta de comida, tienda de barrio, venta de pescados, venta de salchipapas.

El crédito que sacaran beneficiara a pequeñas microempresarias donde la señora Concepción es integrante, ella indica que hace cuatro años que integra Pro Mujer, ingresando por la invitación de una promotora de la institución que fue a visitarle a su domicilio. En la actualidad ella tiene un negocio de tejido de awayos; da a conocer que este negocio lo aprendió de su madre hace varios años atrás, posterior a su matrimonio emprendió su propio espacio de trabajo

El crédito que ahora sacará es para el aumento de capital (compra de lana) que adquirirá de las ferias de la Cuidad de El Alto y posteriormente a la elaboración lo comercializará en su puesto de venta. Esta forma de trabajo le permite generar recursos para mantener a su familia, ya que ella es casada y tiene dos hijos.

Cuando se le consulta qué le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella responde que le gusta el ahorro que se realiza en los grupos.
