Lynda, who is originally from New York City, has lived in Boston since 1990.

She has been working on home remodeling and painting since 1997 as an individual contractor. Since May of 2005, Lynda is the founder and sole operator of Narman Construction Inc., a fully insured and licensed general contractor corporation which specializes in roofing, kitchen design, bathroom remodeling and painting, and other auxiliary services. Her business is accredited A+ by the Better Business Bureau.

Narman Construction Inc. was originally founded and owned by Lynda and her ex-husband in 2005, but once they separated and, eventually divorced, she became the sole owner and operator. Determined to not give up on her business and her entrepreneur goals, she has continued to expand and grow the business through tough economic times. "When I decided to embark on becoming one of very few general contractors in the state, I never dreamed there would be so many opportunities for women in the trade," she says. Despite various setbacks, Lynda has persevered.

One of the difficulties that Lynda has run into is securing working capital to cover labor, materials, and the needed equipment to complete jobs. Lynda’s success to date derives from her outstanding customer service, as she provides estimates and consultations to better understand the needs of her potential clients and, of course, timely and accurate completion of the projects. Her clients include homeowners, commercial property managers, and some projects from the state of MA.

Help Lynda continue to build her dream with a loan.
