Kishwar is a 35-year old married woman, living with her spouse and three children in the area of Lahore, Pakistan.
Her husband is a hawker and sells fruits in their hometown. He goes daily to a fruit market to buy fresh fruits such as mangoes, bananas, apples etc, and he is very famous in the community due to the freshness of his fruits. He has been selling fruits for many years; because of it he understands the mind and demand of people. Nowadays the demand has been increased. He wants to buy more fruits, and in this way fulfill the demand and easily get more profit.
Therefore, Kishwar requested a loan from Kiva’s field partner BRAC Pakistan, so that her husband would be able to buy more fruits, especially seasonal fruits like bananas.
This is the second loan for Kishwar; she assured us that she will pay all installments on time as with her previous loan because she wants to take another loan in the future.
Kishwar is very thankful to the Kiva and its field partner BRAC Pakistan.
