Edith is 40 years old and married with five children. She lives in the town of Koutiala with her husband and her children.
Not being lucky enough to have studied, 15 years ago Edith very quickly became interested in income generating activities, in particular the sale of food condiments which are important products for the preparation of our meals.
To find a solution for the small episodes of stock shortage that she is subject to and which cause her to lose clients, she decided to join the Soro Yiriwaso micro finance institution. This is her fourth loan and the previous loans were repaid correctly. She plans to buy different sorts of food products with this loan. She buys her stock at Koutiala and sells her products from home and from her stall. She hopes to make a monthly profit of 50.000FCFA, which she plans to use to pay the interests of the Soro loan, to participate in the payment of the family expenses and to invest the rest in her business.
