Rafael es un hombre casado de 33 años de edad, padre de cuatro hijos de los cuales 1 hombre y 3 mujeres, quienes viven en el Departamento de Sololá.
El se dedica al cultivo agrícola, sembrando papa a unos metros de su vivienda. Comenta que lleva 10 años en esta actividad que hasta el momento es rentable y productiva.
Gracias a los consejos de su padre ahora tiene un trabajo seguro sin necesidad de ir a trabajar a otro lugar. A través de lo que realiza obtiene ingresos y ganancias aceptables que le ayudan a contribuir al sustento familiar.
El está solicitando un préstamo de Q 4,000.00 para la compra de semillas de papa y fertilizante químico para poder cultivarlo y así incrementar sus ganancias.
Su sueño es generar más ganancias para mejorar las condiciones de vida de su familia en cuanto a educación, vestuario y alimentación.
