Gulsunay
Gulsunay is 49 years old, married, and she and her husband are raising 2 children. Gulsunay has a secondary level education. The main source of income for Gulsunay's family is her animal husbandry business, which she started 29 years ago with the purchase of 2,000 somi (KGS) worth of cattle. As a result of Gulsunay's hard work, today Gulsunay has one milking cow and 2.1 HA of irrigated land where every year she grows beans and clover. Her monthly income comes to 12,000 somi (KGS).

With the goal of further developing her business, Gulsunay applied to microfinance bank Bai Tushum & Partners for a loan of 100,000 somi (KGS) to increase the size of her herd by buying cattle. Gulsunay plans to invest the profits from her loan in further increasing the size of her herd and to save up money for her children's education.
