Najma is the age of 37, living with her seven children in the area of Lahore, Pakistan. Her husband is a mechanic by profession; he provides services for troubleshooting motorbikes and rickshaws. He always keeps busy repairing vehicles and does not have enough time for his family. He has been recruiting two young workers; he has been teaching them mechanic work. There is no spare parts shop near to his workshop. Customers have to go so far away to buy problematic spare parts. He wants to offer spare parts too, so that his customers do not feel any problem during the repairs. Therefore, Najma requested a loan from Kiva’s field partner BRAC Pakistan, so that her husband will be able to provide troubleshooting services and buy new spare parts.

Najma says thanks to Kiva and to its field partner BRAC Pakistan.
