Muasya is a businesswoman who is very hard-working. She is a mother of three school-going children. She lives in her rental house that has neither electricity nor piped water.
Muasya has operates a pool table business where her clients come to play table pool games. She has been in this business for the last three years. She cites maintenance costs as her major challenge.
With the Kshs 20,000 loan she wants to purchase another pool table for her business. She decided to join Yehu to access financial support to improve her business.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
