Ashyrbubu's story

Ashyrbubu is 59 years old, she is a widow. She has raised four children herself after her husband's passing and also runs her business. Ashyrbubu has secondary education and does animal husbandry as a main source of income for her family which she started eighteen years ago with the purchase of cattle for 5,000 som (KGS). Because of her hard work Ashyrbubu now has two milk cows, two heifers and two calves. Her monthly income is 8,000 som. With the goal to further grow her business Ashyrbubu has come to the microfinance bank Bai Tushum and Partners for a loan in the amount of 60,000 KGS to buy calves to increase the headcount of livestock. She plans to invest the income from the loan into further increase of headcount of livestock and plans to save money to repair the house.
