Mariamu is a widowed woman with three school-going children. They live at their own house that neither has electricity nor piped water. Her greatest monthly expenses are food and school fees.
Mariamu has been operating a fruits and vegetable stall business for the past fourteen years. She sells from home to her neighbors. She dreams of establishing a mini green grocer in the future.
With the KES 40,000, she wants to purchase bales of green vegetables, onions, potatoes, and tomatoes for resale. She decided to join Yehu to get financial supports.
