Cleementina is the married mother of six children, all of whom attend school. She owns a house that has neither electricity nor piped water.
Cleementina has operated a posho mill (grinding machine) business for the past three years, grinding cereals such as maize, ground nuts, etc.
With the KES 30,000 she wants to purchase sacks of maize, green grams, ground nuts, and spare parts for her business. She joined Yehu to get financial support.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
