Jose Orbelio
José, 40, is single and has no children; he lives with his parents who share the agricultural tasks with him. Due to his family’s life conditions in the past he wasn’t able to complete his secondary education; he only attended one year of high-school.

He’s worked in agriculture for 20 years. His father taught him to work when he was still very young and when he was able to work alone leased land to work apart. He’s president of his community’s governing board and also has plumbing skills. To get to his fields, he must walk about 600 meters. He spends about 6 hours daily working his crops.

The loan will be used to buy agricultural supplies like fertilizer, herbicide and pesticides and to pay labor costs to prepare the soil for planting. He intends to continue working growing beans and managing a nursery that will be donated to his community. He will do everything possible to maintain said installations.

José de 40 años de edad, es soltero, no tiene hijos y vive con sus padres, con quienes comparte las tareas agrícolas. Debido a las difíciles condiciones de vida de su familia en aquella época, no pudo terminar sus estudios de educación media y estudio solo primer año de bachillerato.

Desde hace 20 años trabaja en la agricultura, su padre le enseño a trabajar desde muy pequeño, cuando ya pudo trabajar solo, rento un terreno para trabajar aparte. Es presidente de la directiva de su comunidad, también tiene conocimientos de fontanería. Para llegar al lugar de siembra camina aproximadamente 600 mts. Todos los días le dedica 6 horas a su cultivo.

El préstamo será utilizado para la compra de insumos agrícolas, Fertilizante, herbicidas, pesticidas y pagar mano de obra para preparar el terreno de siembra.

Tiene pensado seguir trabajando en la siembra de frijol, y administrar un invernadero que será donado a la comunidad y hará lo posible por mantener dichas instalaciones.
