Marianella is the “Las Amistosas” (Friendly Ones) group treasurer. She’s 39-years-old and has a 14-year-old son. Marianella works as a merchant in a local market where she has a stand where she sells all sorts of vegetables and basic staple goods. Her work makes it possible for her to cover her son’s expenses, above all his schooling.
She will be able to improve her business with the requested loan purchasing grocery items. In future, she’d like her business to be better-stocked and to be able to supply more customers.

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals.
