Yelena is an experienced farmer from the village of Sarnakunk in the Syunik region. She lives with her husband, son and school-age daughter. Yelena's husband and son work in the private sector. However, their salaries are so low that they cannot fully meet the family's needs.
To be able to cover the family's expenses, Yelena in engaged in breeding a livestock of cows, sheep, pigs, piglets and hens. She is also cultivating beech, potato and grass. Farming is an important source of income for the family.
To be able to run the agribusiness in a sustainable way, Yelena currently needs a loan of $2,000 USD to purchase fuel for agricultural machinery and to buy some forage for the livestock. Yelena and her family depend on the good will of the lenders and are grateful to them for helping to provide the loan for developing their agribusiness.
