Armend is 25 years old, single and lives with his entire family. He is a hard woker who enjoys being employed as a waiter in an exclusive restaurant and likes to help his family. It is for this reason he wanted to do some renovations to the house. Armend is requesting a loan for the first time in order to renovate his house and the façade. This loan will help him a lot, because without this help, he would not manage to assist and contribute to his family. In the future, he hopes to improve the living conditions of his family and is very thankful to all Kiva lenders for their support!

About KosInvest

KosInvest is a micro-enterprise development organization that provides loans to help people in rural Kosovo generate more income and improve their living conditions. It offers a wide range of loan products, from loans tailored to micro and small enterprises to loans designed to help women-headed households.

About Housing Loans

Many poor families cannot afford housing that meets their needs. When you make a housing loan on Kiva, you give people access to flexible capital to obtain or improve their homes. Better housing means better health, sanitation, and even educational outcomes for children. A house can also be much more for entrepreneurs who run businesses out of their homes. In this way, housing and small business loans on Kiva share a common purpose: to alleviate poverty and enable families to enjoy more stable lives.
